23JUL2021 Jason B Arrived at recent tune up. Spoke with homeowner about issue. Went outside to inspect the condenser. Checked pressures and amp draws capacitor and contactor. Found nothing unusual, and no out-of-ordinary noise other than the fan cover rattling a little bit. Put tape under the fan cover to stop the rattling. Further spoke with the homeowner and they explained that it was definitely not rattling that they heard and that it sounded that the system was just working too hard. I confirmed that the system is not making the noise presently. I spoke with them about a test and verify. I will not be charging for today’s service. Please let us know if the system is making that noise again.

06JUL2021 Jason B arrived to new customer condensate leak. Spoke with homeowner about systems performance. He stated that water was leaking into the bedroom from a vent. Inspected horizontal system in attic. Found the drain pan had never been plumbed with the male fitting still zip tied to the opening. Secondary drain was left open as well. With customer permission I installed a float switch on the drain pan, but due to how the system is hung I cannot open the coil door to inspect the coil pan. If the float switch shuts the system off we will need to return during the day with 2 technicians to properly hang the system. Then diagnose from there. Vacuumed out drain line from exterior termination. Cycled the system on. System is draining properly at this time.

Customer knows there is a leak in the system. System was 2lbs low on R-22. System now operating normally at this time.
