My service call was scheduled between 3 pm and 5 pm. Jason arrived at 3 pm! No waiting and wondering when someone would arrive. He was COVID respectful -- masking up and using shoe covers. He assessed my problem quickly and helped me understand the problem by using visuals and clear terminology. He is very knowledgeable, kind, and respectful of property. Cycled system on at thermostat then disconnect power at furnace. Test all pressure switches, then reconnect power. Cycle system on in heating. Adjust gas pressure to 1.8 (low) and 3.5 (high) IWC. Inspect HSI, burners, and all safeties. Check amp draws, inducer, gas manifold, temperature split, and CO Levels. System is running properly at this time. 17OCT2021 Jason B Arrived to club member service call, spoke with John about what was happening. Their OG&E thermostat has been buzzing lately. After speaking with OG&E about it they were advised to contact us. When I inspected the thermostat I found no visible damage to the board, However there was a smell. ran system in all modes. When I tried to connect to the OG&E Network I received a network error. This thermostat is defective and can no longer connect to the OG&E Network.

Cycled system on at thermostat, then verified proper function at Condenser. Inspected air handler. Found 3amp fuse blown. Disconnected power at air handler. Replaced fuse. Found main power loose inside AH breakers. Tightened breakers and cycled system on. Checked all amps. System is running properly at this time.

System is running properly at this time. I noticed some water spots on the wood under the flue, after speaking with the homeowner about it, the roof has been recently repaired. Inspected exterior flue, and found the cap and storm collar in good condition and sealed.

She recently had a thermostat installed with mobile app control capabilities, and the system never came on afterwards. Inspected tstat, inspected furnace. Found the drain pan full of water. Vacuumed out drain line, and pan. Flushed drain with 2 liters of water and added a pan treatment to prevent further blockages. While I was here, the alarm company who installed the thermostat was out and addressed issues with the app. This system is running properly at this time.

Spoke with Terry about the systems performance, the furnace has not been ran this season and this is a new home and still within builder warranty period. Cycled system on at thermostat then disconnect power at furnace. Inspect blower compartment motor, coil, and heat exchanger. Reinstall blower pull and clean flame sensor. Test all pressure switches, then reconnect power. Cycle system on in heating. Adjust gas pressure to 3.5 IWC. Inspect HSI, burners, and all safeties. Check amp draws, inducer, gas manifold, temperature split, and CO Levels. System is running properly at this time. Checked filter, ductwork, return and supply plenum. 1600rcfm 1990scfm This furnace is designed to move 2000 cfm of air, I recommend increasing some of the return ductwork to accommodate the designed load and reduce stress on the blower motor. This is a brand new system and the ideal time to address this.

It looks like there was previously a home theater setup in the atrium. This wire has nothing to do with your hvac system and the system is safe to run. 08OCT2021 Jason B Arrived for new customer noise complaint. Spoke with Rebecca about the systems performance. Cycled system on to diagnose system. Due to cleanliness of the evap I am flipping this to a tune up. Removed cover, filters, drain pan. Wiped out debris and washed out filters. Found blower wheel very dirty. Cleaned it off in place. Washed covers outside with a water hose then reassembled system. The squeaking has stopped, however I cannot guarantee it will be a permanent fix. Ran system for 15 minutes. 06OCT2021 Jason B Arrived for non club full system tune up. Inspected all equipment for safety before cycling system on. Found old mercury tstat and AC rated for max 25 amps on a 30 amp breaker. After looking all equipment over I cycled the system on at the thermostat. Pressures, contactor, capacitor and amp draws all within manufacture specifications. Inspected blower cabinet, motor and cage. Cycled system on in heat. Inspected heat exchanger, HSI, burners, evaporator coil, and all safeties cycled system on and checked inducer, gas pressure, temperature split, and CO Levels. Found and corrected gas leak at union. CO detector hit for 8ppm at coil. Pulled blower and draft inducer found three pin hole cracks in the heat exchanger. As well as an intermittent short in float switch. AC System is in working order. I recommend having the lineset penetration sealed and a new float switch added. The furnace needs to be replaced it is incredibly dangerous to run with the cracked heat exchang

Inspected package unit and found compressor and fan running, but the blower not. Inspected blower and found no amps. Checked voltage at board and found 27.5 v where we need 230v pulled board and found two geckos cooked and shorted out board. 09SEPT2021 Jason B Arrived to airflow issue call. Spoke with Marcia about the systems this is a duplex that was not inspected at the time of installation. Currently the system at 923 is pulling return air through the closet door, this is a concern as it’s also pulling closet air. I will be returning on the 14th to re-route returns and close up the front of the return plenum. As well as bringing the system up to code. On the other side of the duplex the flue needs to be rerouted slightly and tightened up at the slip joints. Currently the systems are running properly. As this wasn’t done properly we will go ahead and make corrections under a warranty call with no charge to the homeowner. 13SEPT2021 Jason B Arrived to make repairs. 923 address cut in 6x8 return in master bed. Cut in 10x20 return in living area. Seal base of closet to prevent pull closet/attic air. Seal bottom of built in cupboard used for return chase. 08SEPT2021 Jason B Arrived at club member no cool. Spoke with Kevin about the systems performance and issues. Calling for cool at thermostat with airflow, but not cooling. Inspected condenser fan, compressor amps and contactor. Found capacitor completely dead on compressor side, this is a Downflow system with a lack of return air. We decided to go ahead with a warranty replacement and upgrade to Turbo capacitor. This requires a 70mfd capacitor we will need to return with a Turbo XL. For now I installed a basic 70/5 dual capacitor until we can get back out with the turbo. Inspected ductwork and increasing returns is possible however, it will involve removal of ceiling in hallway and still my not be a significant increase to duct size. system is running properly at this time. 09SEPT2021 Jason B Arrived to install previously sold capacitor. Removed 70/5 DRC installed new turbo 200x DRC. this capacitor comes with a 5 year warranty starting today.

08SEPT2021 Jason B Arrived at call back, coil is still freezing over. Inspected blower, coil, fan, and pressures. Found system low on 410 with a coil temp of 30. Performed a complementary leak search and found multiple leaks on the evap coil. Spoke with homeowner about coil replacement and system replacement. This is a 13 seer electric heat package unit. Both condenser and evap coils are badly damaged. Homeowner requested I add refrigerant to get the home cooling while they decided what to do. This coil will not be available until dec 1. Added 2lbs of refrigerant. New coil temp is 45 degrees. With a 12 degree temp split. System is running to the best of its abilities. I cannot make any guarantee on the charge lasting.

08SEPT2021 Jason B Arrived for spring tune up, spoke with Tenant about systems performance. Apparently the thermostat, and system have been turning off and on. Inspected drain lines and found the primary clogged and float switch tripped. With homeowners permission I blew out the drain line with nitrogen, and installed a pan treatment. This treatment comes with our no clog guarantee. Cycled system on at thermostat. Inspected coil, blower cabinet, motor and all electrical components at the furnace. Inspected pressures, capacitors, fan, and compressor. Washed out condenser coils. Cycled system back on. Filter was clean so I left fresh filter in the closet next to the furnace. This system is running properly at this time.
